Leaving Ceremony Update - June 25 - 10am-noon - at SRB

Please note that the Grade 8 leaving ceremony previously scheduled from 9am-11am on June 25th has been rescheduled to 10am-noon on the same date. at Sir Robert Borden High School.  Our apologies for any inconvenience. 

GMS Parent Council Message

The parent council is looking for two coordinators for our two lunch programs (milk and pizza) to get our programs up and running quickly in September.  The coordination roles include:

·       Confirming the information on the order forms (dates, $.. etc).  The order forms are on the school website now so it’s simply updating what is there. (approximately 1 hour in August) 

·       Organizing the money and orders with the supplier and treasurer (approximately 10 hours in September)

·       Scheduling the volunteers (approximately 1 hour per month).  The volunteers are gathered by the council in September.

GMS Girls win Regional Soccer Banner

Congratulations to the girls soccer team on their second straight regional soccer banner. The girls worked very hard and demonstrated excellent sportsmanship in the tournament. 

The girls will compete at the OCDSB board championships on June 14 at the Hornets Nest fields in Gloucester. GMS games are scheduled for 8:30 and 10:15.

Volunteer Parent drivers are needed for transportation.
